In 1982, Anthony Keith Webb (AKW), a salesman for a company in Worcestershire (UK), was frustrated at not being able to find a shower tray for his elderly mother. So he decided to design one and patented a model in GRP, very resistant, non-slip and easy to access.
The local authorities were won over by the project and very quickly, this shower tray became the model of choice for equipping PMR bathrooms, in short the Braddan shower tray was born.
Since there was no PMR product offering, a whole range was created to fully equip a bathroom accessible to all. The factory therefore expanded and integrated the manufacture of mid-height polycarbonate shower screens as well as numerous accessories.
Today AKW is the UK leader in the manufacture and distribution of PMR products for the bathroom and kitchen and has nearly 250 employees.
